Refund Policy

This Refund Policy applies to investment advisory services provided by S Roshan Valiathan, SEBI Registered Investment Adviser (Registration No: INA000021128).


1. Termination of Advisory Agreement

The Investment Advisory Agreement may be terminated under the following circumstances:

  • Voluntary or mandatory termination by the Investment Adviser.
  • Voluntary or mandatory termination by the client.
  • Suspension or cancellation of the Investment Adviser’s registration by SEBI.
  • Any action taken by a regulatory authority or government body affecting the continuation of services.

In case of voluntary termination, either party must provide 30 days prior written notice.

In case of suspension of the Investment Adviser’s certificate of registration, the client may be provided the option to terminate the agreement.


2. Advance Fees

The Investment Adviser may charge advisory fees in advance if agreed by the client. Such advance fees shall not exceed the maximum period permitted under SEBI regulations, which is currently one year.


3. Refund of Fees

In the event of premature termination of the advisory services by either the client or the Investment Adviser, the client shall be entitled to a refund of proportionate fees for the unexpired portion of the service period.

The refund amount will exclude applicable GST or other government taxes.

The notice period will include the continuation of advisory services and will be considered in the calculation of the billable amount.

The Investment Adviser may retain a breakage fee not exceeding one-quarter of the advisory fee, as permitted under the terms of the advisory agreement.


4. Processing of Refund

Any eligible refund will be processed within 7 working days from the date of confirmation of the refund request.
