S Roshan Valiathan operates as a fee-only SEBI Registered Investment Adviser (Registration No: INA000021128). Advisory fees are charged directly to clients for investment advisory services in accordance with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Investment Advisers) Regulations.
The Investment Adviser follows a fee-only advisory model and does not receive commissions or distribution income from financial product providers. This ensures that advice provided to clients remains unbiased and aligned with the client’s interests.
As per SEBI regulations, investment advisers may charge advisory fees under one of the following methods:
The applicable fee structure is mutually agreed upon between the Investment Adviser and the client and is documented in the investment advisory agreement.
Advisory fees are payable directly by the client to the Investment Adviser through banking channels such as bank transfer, cheque, or other permitted payment methods.
Clients may also pay advisory fees through the Centralised Fee Collection Mechanism (CeFCoM) provided by the Investment Adviser Administration and Supervisory Body (IAASB), if applicable.
Any refund of fees, if applicable, will be governed by the terms specified in the investment advisory agreement executed between the client and the Investment Adviser.
The Investment Adviser does not earn commissions or referral income from product manufacturers, mutual funds, or other financial intermediaries for recommending investment products.
This fee-only structure helps ensure that the advice provided remains unbiased and in the best interest of clients.
All advisory services are provided only after execution of a formal client agreement that outlines the scope of services, fee structure, and other regulatory disclosures in accordance with SEBI regulations.
